Featured Cosplayer: Serreniethy Fionah

If cosplay competitions are judge solely on the basis of cuteness and likeability, then this little girl would surely be on the Hall of Fame even before she's old enough to enter grade school.

Serreniethy Fionah, or simply Fionah, started cosplaying at the tender age of four on November 2011 at Pinoy Otaku Encore. People do cosplay for different reasons; some want fame and recognition; others do cosplay out of passion for fashion. Fionah however have no convoluted reasons for joining cosplay. For her, cosplay is simply all about fun!

Amazingly though, it’s not only fun that she got from doing cosplay. Since starting the hobby less than halt a year ago, Fionah has become one of the most recognizable young cosplayers in the whole cosplay scene. In fact, her Facebook page has already received quite a number of fans. Such a huge achievement for someone who is still at a very infantile age.

Although Fionah has yet to receive any major award, she has consistently been the darling of the crowd. For her, winning is just a title. The appreciation and admiration of the people are the more precious achievements.

“Until now I didn’t win yet hehe... it doesnt matter ... “winner” is just a title ... at least I’m always the crowd favorite… “

So far Fionah has been in four major cosplay events. Among those, she considered Otaku Expo 2012 held last January 22, as the most special.

Outside of cosplay, little Fiona is just a regular kindergarten pupil at Nazarene Learning Center, enjoying every moment of her childhood. Fionah wishes to tell everyone that cosplay is all for fun and requests all cosplayers to support each other to get the most fun out of cosplay.
